Purpose
Our goal is to research and explain our federal government, roles of leaders and proposed legislation in plain language. Bills in Congress are made unnecessarily long and complex with hidden attachments that benefit only a select group of people. You should not need a law degree to understand a rule or regulation that is under consideration. You have the right to know what is in a bill so that you can have a say in whether or not it should apply to you, your family and your community. That is democracy. That is America.

Even terms like taxes and entitlements need to be simplified. At their root, taxes are the money we pool together to spend on the things that we want Americans to have. Entitlements are the benefits we want to give to Americans. It’s as simple as that.

The Price of Eggz was born out of a frustration with how difficult and inaccessible government can be. Founded by a team of passionate educators and policy enthusiasts, we recognized a gap in information that is clear and available to help the everyday citizen understand what happens in the halls of power.
Since our inception, we’ve been dedicated to providing educational content that bridges the gap between ordinary citizens and the wheels of government.
